Secondary - Role Model Visits

Rob is an experienced Secondary LGBTQ+ Role Model where he will visit schools and deliver assemblies of approximately an hour to any year group of students. Rob delivers a positive and empowering talk about his life, growing up LGBT+, overcoming challenges and hurdles and ultimately becoming successful, as well as challenging students to not use homophobic, biphobic and transphobic language and to not be a bystander when others do. 

Secondary - LGBT Inclusion Lessons

Rob is able to work with smaller groups of students and deliver either one off or a range of lessons from understanding LGBT+ language and terminology to challenging stereotypes and breaking down barriers to inclusion. Primary - Role Model Visits

Rob has developed his own role model visits for primary schools, drawing on his twenty years experience as a primary teacher to deliver appropriate content to all ages of primary school pupils. These include sessions on challenging stereotypes and 'It's OK to be Gay' in key stage two, to exploring books such as, 'King and King' and 'And Tango Makes Three', to foundation stage and key stage one pupils.
